We are looking for a high calibre leader to fill the role of Director of Law and Governance who will be the Council’s Monitoring Officer - one of our key Statutory Officer roles. This will be someone who is able to lead in an open and transparent way, who fully embraces our commitment to diversity and inclusion and is able to build strategic relationships with colleagues, elected members, partners and internal services. Success in this role will require the ability to build and nurture effective teams, and the capacity to develop and implement plans for the strategic management of our legal services function and the strategic leadership of our organisation.
